As an Automotive Technology student at Oklahoma Technical College you will flourish under the guidance of our skilled ASE Certified Master Technician instructors as they share their years of automotive industry experience in the classroom every day.

You will have the opportunity to learn not only classroom theory but also practical, real-world skills in simulated environments. Get your hands dirty with these hands-on learning sessions in our fully functioning auto shop as you work on our in-house fleet of vehicles. You will have time in the shop each day for hands-on learning, preparing you to enter the workforce with the confidence to handle real-life situations in the automotive industry.

Students in this program are prepared to obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification in all eight performance areas: Engine Repair, Engine Performance, Electrical, Brakes, Heating and Air Conditioning, Suspension and Steering, Manual Drive Train and Axles, and Automatic Transmissions. Students will also have the opportunity to sit for the Automotive Service Technician (AST) exam.
